## What you'll learn

Kai's coaching is built around the lessons he learned the hard way coming back to the water after his own injury. Sessions cover board setup, paddling efficiency, wave selection, take-off technique, edge control, and confidence in heavier conditions. Competitive Prone athletes can also work on heat strategy, scoring criteria, and progressive manoeuvres.

## Who it's for

- Surfers with spinal cord injury or lower-limb impairment
- Surfers returning to the water after major injury
- Family members supporting an adaptive surfer
- Competitive Prone 1 / Prone 2 athletes preparing for world events

## How sessions run

Sessions are 90 minutes, in the water, weather-permitting. Kai supplies adaptive boards and basic equipment. We'll plan your goals before you arrive and review progress at the end of every session. All abilities welcome — sessions are completely judgement-free.

## Apply for a session

Coaching is offered selectively because Kai's competition calendar is busy. Use the contact form to apply, including your surfing background, goals, and any access or medical considerations. Reply within a week with available dates.
